Re: M05 Mini Ratrod
Since my wife has been referring to it as the "Barbiecar" I'll cut you some slack. The only smooth surface is in the house, so not much of a video, but I'll post a short one later.

Really nice and cute project indeed, I love it. How does it drive?

Re: M05 Mini Ratrod
With a 3000kv motor, skinny smooth front tires on wood flooring, I get understeer. There really isn't any place near me where I can drive this, except in the house.

Re: M05 Mini Ratrod
Those tires don't make a lot of contact with the ground, due to the curve along the face. Maybe some tires with a flatter cross-section might work better, or you might add some weight up front on the chassis. Looks great, though!

Re: M05 Mini Ratrod
I will probably make shorter lower control arms so I can run a fatter flat front tire and still keep it inside the wheel well. This is more of a shelf queen.

Re: M05 Mini Ratrod
I stayed with the stock arms and mounted the stock mini tires on the same rim, much better.
