Make a new order or ask Shapeways to use current versions. I have just updated all items.

Steel screws? God forbid you add that much weight in the name of reliability. Really good drivers can feel that humongous weight difference!
I'll bet your setup will work on carpet too and you didn't even ask others how to arrive at that solution.

White is all good now Niki. I want to give you a big thanks, not for only designing these parts from a few pictures but also fixing all these little bugs along the way. I don't know how shapeways works but I hope you get a percentage for all your time and efforts

Re: NIX91 Questions and Answers
Your trying to poke fun at me? You even have your sig aimed at me! I have TWO ROAR national titles in stock buggy and truck, how many do you have? I can set up any car in the right given time. I asked for help because I did not have any track time on carpet for that event or the B5M for that matter!fredswain wrote:Steel screws? Any good racer can tell when minor amounts of weight are added, especially to the front! Get over your self!

Are you really that stupid? What's that about steers and queers?

Re: NIX91 Questions and Answers
I got this information from Shapeways:
"
Hi Niki,
Thanks for reaching out.
At this time, we cannot change or add anything to existing orders once they are submitted. So your customer would have to place a new order for the updated models at this time.
However, upon request we can combine existing orders for shipping and issue a refund for the second shipping fee once production begins.
Please be aware that by combining orders, the estimated shipping date becomes the later of the two....

Re: NIX91 Questions and Answers
Shapeways just messed up my race parts order and sent me standard rear arms instead of the race version.
I thought I made the error, but checked and nope, my order was correct!

Re: NIX91 Questions and Answers
Noooo... They should make you new arms for free if you contact customer service and make them aware of this.

Re: NIX91 Questions and Answers
Hey there,
I've just finished putting my car together and noticed that with the race arms front arms and steering, there isn't any clearance for the steering cranks when the suspension is compressed. Should I shim the steering upwards and has anyone else thought that this is an issue?
Another problem was the steering part with the body post sheered off when I was screwing it on, with only really light force. I've replaced the part with another part from the Re-re worlds steering and now I'm going to do the same for the other side.
The Steering 3d printed parts seem a bit fragile to me. It would be great if someone out there could make some alloy steering parts.
Cheers
David

Re: NIX91 Questions and Answers
David this was actually an issue that was found on the original car. if you look at some of the pictures, you can see where the front arms were ground down in the same area you are having a problem with. The issue is that the front is really cramped for space. You will find that car has quite a bit of steering and depending on your track or driving style, you may need to take some of the steering out of the car.dj_kilroy wrote:Hey there,

Post up some pics once you get it going.
