Not sure if it will work or not but maybe you could try some forms of automotive paint polish? Maybe even try some wax.
Worst it can do is not work.

The original finish was not polished or shinny, but untreated aluminum that was anodized. It's a dull finish, no matter what you do to it. Polishing it or applying abrasive compounds to it will only remove the anodized finish.
The only way to achieve a shinny anodized finish is to strip the gold off using oven cleaner (lye), then polish the chassis to a mirror-like finish, then re-anodize it gold.
The chassis are matte finish anodized, and pretty much that's all they will be without starting over from bare aluminum.

Re: What to use to shine up gold orange vintage chassis?
hello,
You can use Vaseline on anodized aluminum. This is commonly done on old gold anodized Porsche wheels.
This will not make the chassis shiney, but it brightens up the faded gold finish. Try some under the part of the chassis that's hidden under the nose plate. Apply with your hands and wipe off the excess with a piece of clean cloth.
