HI!... Well some more stuff showed up on the weekend.

Tamiya Super Shot MSC. This one will be converted to a BigWig one. It actually came with the super rare resistor mounts. When I was restoring my original Super Shot it took me forever to find two of these :

A lot of tires/rims I got for $20. Most are new never run :

So that yellow tree holds BigWig parts?

Two lots of Alex Racing Barracuda parts.

Lot 1 (not pictured): chassis, top deck, shock towers, some arms, 2 gearbox covers, bumper + foam, battery cups and bar, tons of c-hubs and rear hubs. Not shown in the sale pics was the serious damage to the front of the chassis (doesn't matter, I wasn't going to use it anyway) and that the front shock tower is cracked and unusable :x

Lot 2:
barracuda 1.jpg
Barracuda R2 Special Edition with R3 suspension arms and several options (center one-way, front arm reinforcement set, full set of swing bars, ti-nitride suspension balls) + some spares, JR RX, servo and reversible ESC. So quite a good buy, except that both front shafts are bent (a spare one is included, I will need to track down another one) and one of the rear ball diff outdrives is broken (the tracking down of which is going to be a pain in the behind).

This is going to be mated with the 2-speed special chassis set I picked up earlier. I still need to check whether I have the correct center shaft parts (the center oneway may require different bits than the stock center shaft, and the 2-speed need the stock shaft :? ), and maybe I'll be adding Square alloy uprights (there's a bit too much play in the stock parts, IMHO).

I picked up a XXT, about 10 pairs of wheels for it, and RPM XX buggy front arms :)

It was a good day for pan car servos 8)
Most were from Bud, a few missing a couple screws (lightweight lol) and shortened leads which is handy when done correctly

Finally!! Scored me a NIP Parma rally body after years of wanting one. Ever since Aug 1996 RCCA I've wanted to build a rally buggy. I just set it on this buggy to check how it fit.

That is going to look cool! It looks similar to an Escort body.

It's a Vauxhall Astra body. The fenders are exaggerated quite a bit over the real car but I like the larger fenders. Reminds me of the old group b cars.

Thanks for the clarification. I like the look of the wide fenders, especially on racers. Should look awesome once it is painted.

I'm loving that.... reminds me of my Nitro 10 rally cars.... and I've been a fan of that body since I saw one on the cover of one of the old British RC mags back in the day, talking about Rallycross (it used to be big, kiddies!).

Look forward to seeing a great paintjob on that..... white with red and yellow factory colours would suit, or maybe some blue and red with STP signage.... keep us updated!!!
