New sprue layout for Race Steering parts offers a chance for polishing and color options without any effect to bearing surfaces.

Shapeways has been very flaky in taking care of a problem with one of my ordered (made for another member)
I am very disappointed in their lack of understanding and helping to fix their problem. 2 kits were perfect, as ordered. The third had 3 parts that were duplicates and missing the opposite side. I've only received a message saying that they will see if they can correct the problem.

I had an issue with them and was also contacted by another forum member who also had issues. He was seeing if our orders were mixed up. They weren't. Shapeways just plain messed up.

All my part sets are now joined together with a sprue. Minimizing the risk of some parts getting lost. I think this is what Shapeways also wanted to achieve with their new pricing system. Loose parts in one batch is way more expensive than earlier.

They have been popping up on ebay lately, another set just came up

Hi there,

I put in an order for the chassis kit on Friday and still haven't had a confirmation email back yet?

I'm more than happy to pay upfront and am pretty excited about the chance to own and race this car.

Cheers

David

Don't worry dj_kilroy, I'm sure Jake will contact you as soon as possible.

Some of you have asked about the missing old "NIX91 Complete Set1 SLS" Shapeways item.
Unfortunately I can not offer it anymore. To help you find all those "Complete Set" parts I created a new Shop Section.
Inside "NIX91 (Complete Set1)" shop section you can now find ONLY those parts previously included in "NIX91 Complete Set1 SLS".
All available options still in shop section "NIX91".
I hope this helps. Thanks.

Unbelievable... I just contacted Shapeways customer service and asked... well... all kind of things.
Personally I have received only good quality parts and complete orders, that's why it's so hard to believe they are messing things up so badly.
I really hope they will print rest of "Complete Set1 SLS" (individual loose parts) orders right and then when we reach current model versions (parts in sprue) things start to run smoother.

NIkki Sir,

its not your fault, not one little bit.

I guess my frustration is that I can either wait for them to reply or just order the right part separately, only problem is that it costs $15US to ship them down here regardless of what I order

I guess its just a good excuse to buy more goodies huh 8)
