Cool video! Kinda makes me jealous Rod and I didn't get as far as we got with his runners and the testing.

That's a very nice video. He has the right idea. Just need same tires for parity and lap times. I'm sad, but happy at the same time to see someone else take on the challenge! With losing my mint collection in the house fire, I can not justify running my surviving runners, as most will now be restored as best possible to shelf duty!kjrell wrote:A very nice video to see:

Love that video. I could watch it over and over!
This thread has some great info. I recently picked up a Gold Pan "A" Stamp but it has all black pieces on it. The front arms are wide as well. It looks to have been drilled for a Stealth trans as well. I'm guessing it was a miss match of parts and modified by the previous owner. Has bearings in the Jelly Bean wheels and 6 gear trans too. Whatever it is, I'm looking forward to get it going and enjoy it with my kids

Rod will have to update his box/manual/ad art bodies when he gets time. I think it might take a while before he gets everything out and setup in his house… next year hopefully by spring or sooner if he's lucky.marlo wrote:I love the box art bodies you put up, but some other pics have gone missing.

Re: 25 YEARS OF THE RC10 (See page 1)
Already been through the amazing first page... Without going through the whole 21 pages, is there any coverage of the version of RC10 that had a stealth case with only two holes in it's case for the chassis floor? i bought a stealth of ebay a few years ago, black case, but only two mounting holes for the chassis floor instead of four. there were other tabs on the case with mounting holes for mounting to raised surfaces. Anyhow, i'm trying to ID that stealth and the model it went into.

Re: 25 YEARS OF THE RC10 (See page 1)
Sounds like the MIP trans. SP1 used 2 holes and was black, and basically the predecessor to the stealth, same idea but not from team associated. The change box was white and used the stealth parts with an alternate gear ratio and case. I don't know if it had 2 or 4 holes tho.
Either way, the real 2.25 stealth has never changed its shape or hole count (except the rere world's case but that is very recent)
