Its a late.... What we have going on in this kit is a very late #7001, almost to the point that you could call it a very early Team truck, (with exceptions).... I will need to up-date our RC10T history thread!..... I wish the "hammer" were here to chime in.
Chassis
"early" In line B, with counter sunk 6 gear tranny holes. This chassis most likely crossed over to early Teams.

Un-opened kit bag
Thin webbed arms, thin 2-hole towers, standard stealth brace, "mid" shock bushings, "early" spur gear, and FULL hex ball cups ( something I was not expecting !)

Tires
Standard logo'ed tires.... all around

The Body

A very nice un-boxed rash body

For sure Jeff, it was a win/win, I got an un-built example of a #7001, plus some needed info for our History thread  I was very surprised with some of the parts. To find a sealed #7001 is one thing, to get one of the first production runs is another..... very difficult!

Looks great sir, there's nothing wrong with a sealed kit being cracked open for the first time and seeing a big bag full of minty parts 8)

I don't think the T's get much love and I sure as hell hope they don't rere it!

Cheers guys. This will not be built, I just opened it to see what type it was.... and your right, feels like the 10T is a little neglected.

I've been following Marlon, just not posting :D I forget which era 7001 my kit is but I remember late. I forget which ball cups and etc that mine has but I can post up some of mine to compare if you like.

Stadium trucks are my thing and I can't get enough of them.

Yours was a late RJ, but now it has become a "Mid". Since I had no idea a #7001 came with these late parts in my kit, mine will now be the late standard. I think you should show your kit in detail.

Trucks are for kids....
