The most interesting thing about the rear wheels to me is the fact that he completely cut off the side walls of the wheels. It's a bit like 1/8 scale wheels in that regards. The pink discs cover this up to mask this tactic.

That was done on very rough, bumpy tracks. Let the tire and foam absorb sharp impacts better without the internal and mounting ribs. Also made the wheel more flexible. Both making for a more forgiving car on very bumpy tracks.

The motors that Mike Reedy handed out to most of the team never had any Mr labels on them as far as I can tell. So it is difficult to tell what exactly they used. This was done I'm sure to keep the competition guessing. My best guess is a 14 double or triple, but that is purely a guess. It may have been any 12-14 turn. There may be a race report somewhere that gives the Motor info.

Edit: Just did some searching and it looks like Rick Vehlow and Craig Drescher was using a Mr T (11 triple) (faster than I thought! ) Mark Pavidis was using a Mr M (13 double) but no idea what Masami used!

Masami normally used really really fast = low wind motors. Sometimes he had the lowest wind motor in offroad finals. The "secret" apparently was that he did use only as much speed that was needed and it might have been normally that he pushed the stick (he uses stick transmitters) only 1/2 or 2/3 maximum to gain same speed level as others with 100% trigger pushed.

I use sticks also and have been one of the lucky ones to have raced against him in my heat, beat him as well but does make sense. So possibly an 11 like CD.

I can't remember all of them but I believe we had 15 or 16 cars there. Here is the list below of who I think raced them. I could be wrong about one or two of them but this is the best list I could come up with. Maybe some of you can help if you know.

Satoshi used close to stock RC10 Graphite. Front shocks & shock tower seems to be long and steering bellcrank are (ballraced?) aluminum parts.

As far as I know, Craig Drescher has a car and I have Masami's car. We also have one more at AE. I don't believe there are any other cars out there. Do you know of any other '91 Stealth cars that someone may have?
