Hi guys. First off, I must say all your hard work has truly paid off. You guys did an amazing job on the build. I wish you would have reached out earlier about the kick-up angle. I could have measured it for you. I just sent Masami's Original 91 Stealth Car back to him on Thursday. I'm sure you have seen the pictures from AE from a couple days ago. We took those pics right before we sent out the car. He needs the car back for pictures. I believe they are writing a book about him.

I believe the kick-up angle is 25 degrees, maybe 20. It's been a long time. I will double check the car when it is returned. I think I may have drawings of the chassis at work still...maybe. Not too much was kept on that car from back then. If I find anything I will let you know.

I do have some old proto-type parts from that car as well as the Australian Worlds Car. But I do not have an extra chassis from the 91 wolds car. I'll try to load up some pics for you to see. I have the parts here in my garage.

It would be nice to get a picture of your reproduction right next to the original. That would be very cool I think. If you would ever want to do that, let me know. I will arrange it for you. You guys have done so much work for such a long and dedicated time frame, I am truly impressed. Good job guys!!!! Believe me, I know how much work you have put into this. No one will truly know until they have taken on this task.

If you need any better detailed shots of the car let me know. When I get the car back I will take them for you.

Here are a few pictures of some stuff I have in my garage. I'm sure all of you have a bag of Stealth parts laying around in your garage too...LOL.

Best regards,
Curtis Husting

Thanks Curtis! Seeing all of those prototype part is pretty cool. It looks like you had multiple front end arms that you were testing back during the development phase. On the podcast a few years ago Cliff said that the '91 car ultimately became the B4 which has 25 degrees on the kick up. If you do get a chance to measure it please let us know.

Regards,

Justin

Curtis, I'd love to be able to get some measurements so we can get the '89 car done too. It looks like you've got them there.

Curtis, thank you for stopping in to take a look at our project. We worked countless hours on this and we are extremely happy with our results. I guess we never thought to send an email asking specifics. I know for myself that I did not want to be a pest bothering you guys over measurements on an old car. I would be happy to send the Masami replica to you for pictures with the original. I will send an email and private message to you for details. Jake

Quick shot of the '85 & '91 Worlds winners together. Although Jake's is much more accurate.

Jake and Niki have really done a nice job this. It's cool to hold in your hand, and potentially own, something that for 20+ years you've only seen in pictures and magazine articles. This will be a popular item.
