Re: Currently Playing
While my left hand is rarely "free", I do enjoy this tune...

Some good grillin' music to enjoy on the back deck on a lazy Sunday afternoon.

Re: Currently Playing
I'd worry about getting my man card pulled if that hadn't already happened like 87 pages ago... I'm not a Fergie fan(too skinny for my taste ), but she has some killer soulful vocals on this track. Great melody too. Been my jam tonight.

Re: Currently Playing
I saw Jeff Martin (singer of Canadian band The Tea Party) live with his solo act a couple summers ago...at a small, intimate venue similar to the one in this vid...I wanted to check it out just because I like The Tea Party's music, but was blown away by the guy's charisma and the mood & atmosphere he created...one of the best live performances I've seen in many years. This song, The Cobra, was the highlight of the show. The intro made the hairs on the back of your neck stand up.

I'm sure there were guitarists even before Page experimenting with the bow on the electric guitar...I actually think The Tea Party were more heavily influenced by The Doors and Jim Morrison's songs having a more middle-eastern flavor than Led Zep.
Check this one out...some pretty talented musicians, regardless of their musical influences:

Re: Currently Playing
Saw a Floyd cover band last weekend named Pink Droyd. Decent band but did a killer version of this tune. Such a masterful song.

Re: Currently Playing
Diggin' the 60's vibe from that Tea Party video.
For some reason reminded me of this Sting performance I saw awhile back. Slightly different flavor, but eclectic nonetheless.
Stings 'The Soul Cages' album is worth a serious listen.
