I've wanted to build this truck for some time, and needed a good example for the "History of the RC10T" thread, with two kits on hand...... one needs to be built
Just to get the build thread started.
more to come..
I can't bear to watch you rip apart that minty box, slicing thru all those beautiful clear baggies exposing the label of the proud packager of said baggie, and watch you forcefully screw into the virgin nylon. You are a sick, sick person Marlo. Send the kit to me and I'll keep it boxed up for a long long time
J/K, Can't wait!

Good to see you back at it again Marlon

Man this brings back memories. My Dad and I both got one of these (I must have been in Jr high at the time) and I recall building them side by side. What a great truck. Wish I hadn't been stupid and sold them both.

The rears are pretty close to the same, but I believe the fronts were about wide, maybe 3/8 on each side.
Hey all, welcome to my A&L Team Truck builds, I wasn't sure where to put this but since #5 of 5 is here I thought I would keep them in the same area. The trucks are #2 of 5 and what I’m guessing is #1 of 5. This is a special one for me, I’ll be...

Took another look at the extra chassis last night and it is NOT the same as the numbered versions. It isn't drilled for the upper deck stiffener and when I overlaid the upper deck onto the lower, the holes needed break into the skeletonized pockets...
Here is a little story. Almost untrue but it really happened.
The other day I was searching through ebay looking for some parts to complete my RC10 fleet. Dont forget that I live in Germany and old parts are hard to come by. So I saw this NIB...

Finally I got the almost right ipc esc for my B3. Not period correct, but it gets it rolling. I found an old german Pro Formance P2 12 turn motor for it as well.
The R/C gods were smiling down upon me today!! Attended a local R/C swap meet and purchased a NIB RC-10 Team Car.....still in the plastic with the original factory seal on it.
Can't say what I paid for it..but I assure you it was next to nothing...

Yes I sold that buggy to a dear friend, kinda of regretted it.......thankfully I found a worlds car new in box still in the plastic!!! But this one stays with me!! SO now I have 5 rc10's enough parts to build 2 more....can you say down with...
I have the opportunity to purchase 2 NIB. Vintage Team Associated RC10 buggies. One is a Gold Pan, the other is the black pan version. Both have the Stealth transmissions inside the kits. Both appear to be in the original boxes with the original...

If it sounds too good to be true...............it probably is!
Looking at that early car it's funny to see how things are going full circle. This car was shaft drive. Then Kyosho came along with their chains and later the belt drives and that became the standard. Now AE is back to shaft drive again. From an...
Hi, this is my first post on RC10Talk. I'm from France, so apologies if my english is so-so.
l've been wandering around in the last weeks, looks like a very friendly community :D
I thought I might share a recent build, not really a vintage old to...

I like them both, but I got to admit, the car itself is nicely done.
I almost painted my current 10L with that Shell scheme, but went for a Gulf Racing theme in the end.
the Gulf theme is cool I did that on my composite craft 12L and love the car.
