Axial SCX-10 Tonka Rock Crawler DX3R - $150 (Parma)
Axial Scx 10 rock crawler complete rolling chassis, needs motor (55turn should be around 22$) also includes spectrum dx3r radio set and novak rooster crawler ecs and hi tech hs-645 mg servo. The Tonka is a 1978 model that has had the wheel base extended to fit the scx10 chassis. the antenna on the controller was damaged ( the hinge pin broke so i taped it upright) its cosmetic the radio works fine. The truck also needs a new steering servo arm due to the plastic one is strtipped out. I think i would opt for the better steal or aluminum arm due to the weight of the tonka body.

With a remote-controlled truck bed, that would be awesome.

No, that is really cool! Alas, I'm thousands of miles away and shipping costs would kill the cool or I'd be all over that bad boy! Perhaps a B&R Sprinter? Looks like this one that I purchased about 5 years ago and keep telling myself I'm going to build.slotcarrod wrote:That is kind of cool!

That looks like a winner at $50, looks close to the B&R sprinter chassis.

I'm pretty sure that's not a period correct radio box!
The easy way to tell? Look close you can see the hardware is wrong

Paint job is terrible but I think using the sprint body as a tractor body is pretty clever.
Could be the big box attached to the tranny is giving extra gear reduction for pulling.
