Couldn't pass it up for $22 shipped! Kyosho Chevy Stepside. Typical Chevy rust bucket! Trans looks like it was underwater but the rest looks great. The Grizzly tires are a little odd on it but who knows, maybe they will stay. I will probably be making the trans a single speed unless i can find a couple gears that are really bad

I pulled the trans apart tonight and started soaking it, it might be ok. Still not sure why it needed a lower ratio for reverse tho!

Cool! There are several old beasts for sale in my area right now, like a shelfer Lunchbox (supposedly never run) for $60...might have to grab some more stuff.

Re: So what did you get in the post today ???
Actually had this arrive late last week, but not had the chance to add a crappy mobile phone picture until now....
Seems to be a Tamiya Stadium Blitzer / Thunder / Beetle thingie, with a very awful wheel and tyre setup - fronts are Madcap fronts, and rears are from a John Deere! Bodies are interesting, although the big green behemoth has seen better days, and could really use some cleaning and patching. Unfortunately, what I thought was a NIP old Tamiya part turned out to be the packaging from a Porsche 959 MSC, which the previous owner has installed when they burned out the previous stock speedie.
All will go in the 'one day' pile..... and I'll get to them one day!
