That wheel and tire combo is a PERFECT match for that buggy. Are the fronts just same as the proline rears with a rib cut off? They suit the narrow arm so well.

I bet they are the Proline wheels for the Kyosho and Tamiya 4wds..
Really nice car.
Regarding the MIP cable version, a friend of me was running that cable conversion at his RC10 back in the days. But this car has gone long ago.
Actually I just know of this conversion, was the cable the first one and how much 4WD versions were made by MIP overall?

Hi working on my own finally, missing chain drive support though any chance I’d find someone willing to 3D print one up?
Finding someone to print it shouldnt be an issue... but thats assuming you already have it designed.
Well....... I am hopeful (if not naive) that someone here has already crossed this hurdle and is will to share, or be compensated to have one scanned (original) and fab one up..
IF only technical drawing is needed and someone gave me the input measurement requirements(3D) I could in theory reduce the existing tech/ drawings to measurable amounts and we can give it a shot.
Example:
Height: = X
length: = Y
depth: = Z
thickness = A
Couldn't find any SP-2 instructions in the scans section so thought I would put some up, additionally I will do the SP-45 belt drive upgrade instruction in a 2nd post.

Out of curiosity do you happen to have the MIP cable drive 4x4 instructions? I've never seen a kit in person but remember pics of it way back when.
Does any one have a manual showing the assembly of the chain drive tranny for the RC10?
I picked one up off of E-bay, but it was apart. I think it is missing the top shaft. Could I use a stock top shaft?

Surprisingly mine is very quite but it is running a hyperdrive belt system for the primary drive.I still have to swap the motor plate to the other side as pointed out by Highway racer in a previous thread as the belt drive system drives the spur the...
RC10 3/16 convert driveshafts are they still avaliable ??? I bought a new set here a long time a go and now when im assembled them one of them is binding i have tried to free it up but i guess its a monday copy.
This might be a weird idea but I remember thinking of this when I was younger and still had my original Optima. Would it be possible or, even feasable for that matter, to convert a MK1 chain drive Optima to a mid mounted motor?
I'm thinking keep...

Interesting, thanks for the link. I don't like the monoshock at the front though, can't see it being an improvement over the stock arrangement.
