Yeah a popular chopper won an RC10 I was watching that had a beat up set of arms on it. They were broken but still good enough to get copied...sadly this is how he chose to ship. I've always wondered how he made any profit with his .99 cent auctions and now I've got some idea. :|

the open parts used, adn the jrx2 chassis has a cf overlay on both sides i like it, not building shelf queens, eventual runners, so decent good used parts. the chassis does have the rpm front arms, and rpm rear toe links, love the stock wheels for when not being used, they will be the shelf storage wheels, (if i get to buidl my cabinet. but im very very happy. Now just waiting for a b2 coming from my brother a friend left at his house.

UPS just dropped off a big box-o-goodies...a 2½ foot electric boat, an Ultima, and an Edinger RC10 (well, the box is an Edinger...I haven't gone over the car yet to see if it's period correct - has the older single-hole rear tower anyway...
pics later when I have time

Came in today, doesn't look to have ever been run. No wear on any of the parts. Looks like the Novarossi Top was broken in, and shelfed after that. Started right up with the old glow plug. Came with all the manuals, and original uncut sticker sheet! Awesome find!

As promised:

appears to be a Graupner Electro-Vee

They are certainly well used and rather dusty/dirty, but that just makes it more gratifying to see what the end result will be...

Could be, I haven't gone through it much yet. A few things on there I noticed were on-track with the mid/late Edinger id in slotcarrod's "25 years" write-up...but it could be a mix-n-match too...parts from this, parts from that. I'll get a better idea later tearing it down for a good cleaning. Just pulled the motor off, it's an A stamp chassis. The motor is a blue label Cadillac Reedy, in very nice condition...

Ok, so you got me wondering...I started checking the thing out...

6-gear trans
single-hole rear tower, but thinner fiberglass
thinner shock cap gaskets
earlier, thinner front spindles

manual is c.1984, and has the Edinger address...did they just have a lot of these left over still when they moved to Cadillac, and just used them there till they ran out? The manual also shows the drive gear pivot as having the threads, attributed to the Cadillac version in slotcarrod's "25 years" article
I just disassembled the trans and it does indeed have the later threaded drive gear pivot

all ball ends have the hex toward the cup end
nylon battery strap

Since this is obviously so well used, I'm sure there were a lot of parts worn out / damaged / replaced in its lifetime, so it's probably pointless to pin it down to a specific model anyway. Just runner quality...

Rc10b2 from my brother, and RS4 PRO2.
the b2 a friends of his brought to his house in missouri about 9 years ago. and he moved to Washington 2 years ago. hasnt heard from the guy. SO mine now, Chassis missing a chunk so might replace down the road. screws missing cvd axle missing going to go through associated site since so far all the b2 stuff there.

Pro 2 a customer fo mine at Hobby PEople/Shack when i was a manager gave it ot me, (and the xx4 i have). they tried to turn it to a rally car. so basically a couple parts to fix, i have a full set of HPI lying around, a clean, and set up for saddle li-po packs. Going ot put the PRo line mazdaspeed6 body on it since he had to trade his full size on in a few years back( with Bronze volk looking wheels) just a good looking shelfer and accasional play. Go right along the Ta03f i gave him with an Escort Cosworth body on it.
