Was a good day on the bay! Have been trying to stay of ebay, not any easy thing to do.
Was doing a quick check for a few parts and seen this RC10 was just listed with a very reasonable buy it now.
Had considered getting a rere but figured I would run across a nice original. Glad I waited!
From the sellers pics it doesn't look like it has been run.
After I bought the car, the seller listed the radio that goes with it, also with a very reasonable buy it now, glad I took a look!
Pretty cool old KO PROPO electronics.
Will pick up a box art body and put it on the shelf when it gets here.

I love the ko ex-5, hands down my favorite controller. I have a bunch, and if they could be converted to 2.4 that would be awesome.

Unfortunately not, the seller picked this up at an estate sale.
She said what she bought was all she seen as far as rc cars go, but she is going back today and said she will let me know if she finds anything.
I'm thrilled to have such a nice RC10 coming, have a few beat to crap cars that I will get to some day.
I'm really not sure what body I need for this, was looking at the prepainted box art body on ebay, I do have a lightweight Parma Chenowth around here somewhere. I suck at painting though.

the protech is the correct body for it. you can get the re-released chinese ones , but i would keep an eye out for an original.

Thats exactly how I like to pickup my project cars. Clean, complete with box and extra bits. Great find!
