Re: So what did you get in the post today ???
Picked up some more SRB goodies locally this afternoon. The chassis has clean mk1 towers and trans. The 6 point cage has been mounted but never run. I'm switching it over to my all black buggy.

Re: So what did you get in the post today ???
Been to collect a few bits and pieces today. An old friend who owned a hobby shop died a while ago and most of the leftover parts and cars are being sold by his son, Daz75 on Oople. His widow is moving to a smaller house, so asked me if I wanted the leftover bits before they go to the dump. Of course I said yes, if it was junk I could tip it myself, but always best to go through it first.
Got a couple of multi drawer boxes, and while most of the drawers are filled with miscellaneous body clips, screws, nuts and lots of siler springs with indication what they are. But in a couple of drawers there were:
Three complete hydradrives A bunch of shocks A toolbox with more pinions than even I could use A few bottles of shock oil A Carson truck shell And a Barracuda Smart Charger. From the 80s these were the top charger you could buy, and this one includes the cell monitoring interface. Connect all the leads to a battery pack and it will discharge the cells and then print out the discharge curves for each individual cell. I wouldn't mind trying it, but how long has to been since you could buy a printer with a serial interface.

Nice score on the cage, also seen your post with the mono shock brackets, you've been finding some cool stuff lately, just goes to show, they are still out there, just have to keep looking!
