Excuse my redundancy.....

Yeah, Cornell can't hit some of those notes anymore while performing Soundgarden songs live. They're just hard to sing in general and especially while having to sing allout (as loud as he can) over all those guitars turned up full blast.
He doesn't have the roar/power he used to, no doubt about it ....but the brother can still sing like no ones business.

his solo acoustic stuff is stunning.....

This, specifically the second half (solo acoustic Beatles cover) is ridiculously good....He sounds as good as ever.

I wouldn't say embarrassed is the word I'd use for saying I like these songs, but it's pretty close.

The first one just has a melody that I can't get out of my head and the second is a lead singer's voice that I just can't help but like.
