What's the process to get a replacement ?
I also think I need a front shock body as one of mine I couldn't get the cap to go on.
Even tried to clean the thread by using a metal cap

Just email support.
I miss brushed motors in that hazy, everything seemed better when I was a kid, kind of way.

Hey guys. I just started my build this evening. I made it to the transmission assembly and I definitely have a problem. When I put the case halves together, I can't spin the tranny by hand without feeling tons of resistance. I'm not sure if I have the top shaft problem or a warped case. I'm calling AE in the morning. :?

It's the top shaft AND a warped case....but what do I know.
AE's customer support is great and they'll send you one express....

I think something's up with the case...The gears seem to spin perfect by hand with the case open, but once you snap it down, that's when you start noticing problems.

I got lucky that I had bought two stealth kits n popped one of those in instead.....n a brother hit 50 on the nose yesterday on 2s.

.....as far as my personal solution for what seems to be the tranny case being too tight and feeling resistance in the gears...... Stick that tranny in this runner I'm building, fit it with 3s ..Gear up...throw a lil weight on the nose ...lay it down on the concrete, turn it on......n give that sumbich full throttle.

Alright, I called AE and they told me that there is one tooth on the idler gear that is too tall. This causes the tightness in the transmission. Running it should force the gear to conform. As for my top shaft, I finished the transmission assembly and I have no clearance issues. So, I think I'm good. I guess there's going to have to be a bit of a break-in period.

Yeah, probably. Does anyone know if the 9360 idler gear is the same thing as the 6569?

Hi everyone, this is my first post. i most actively in RCtech. I found this site after getting a rere worlds car and ran into the stealth meshing problem like most. after reading all the post, i realised i wasnt the only one and my top shaft is also too short. luckily i didnt have any cvd issues.

The meshing issue was driving me nuts, as there is no way it could be run in. I spoked to a few of my mate who is actively racing in Aust to see if i could find someone to make me a new idler gear. And one of them refered me to a fella in UK.
after describing the issues of the stealth gear box and giving the specs, he was able to make me a new idler gear. and the result was a miracle! the new idler fitted perfectly and i dont even have to change ratios.

i am so excited i wanted to share this with you all. i know this is the solution we all been waiting for.

His contact details will be posted as saon as i have his approval in the next day or so.

and here is the pic of the idler gear.
