XXT CR informations ?
Hello,
As you can see in the title, i need some informations on the XXT CR .
I purchase one to figured side by side with my XX CR. (the complete family )
My principal interogation is about the body:
- is someone get a picture of the box art paint job ?
- where can i find a new body (TBG got only for LXT, so for a "CR" version...)
and my last question:
- where can i find a manual (even a pdf) , i'm searching on the web and ...nothing, maybe someone get it and could scan it
thank you for reading .
Phil.

Re: XXT CR informations ?
Hi Phil,
Some photos of the XXTCR truck can be seen here;
http://www.tamiyaclub.com/showroom_model.asp?cid=66597&id=5638
Not the clearest images but you should be able to pick out the detail by viewing the full size photo.
I see Vintagelosi.com has the manuals for the original XXT & for the full option model the 'CR Graphite Plus' but not the manual for the XXTCR But I guess if you download both, you should get most of the important details (the CR XXT shares most of the parts with the original XXT - e.g front end & gearbox, I believe the CR had the longer XXL non-graphite chassis & with the 'Graphite Plus' rear end [in-board tow] but again using non-graphite parts
BTW the LXT is a very different buggy to the XXT (being based on the earlier ProSE buggy as opposed to the XX) So i'm not sure if the LXT shell would fit onto your XXTCR? The XXT shell has more flare on the arches & rather than the bonnet scoop of the LXT the XXT shell has two humps to accomodate the front shocks. *Note* Its worth noting too that there are two versions of the XXT shell - long & short versions, the longer one for the XXTCR & G+ - i've actually fitted the shorter (original XXT) shell onto my Graphite Plus - it still fits ok - but the indents for the front mounting holes are in the wrong position

Re: XXT CR informations ?
It looks like you found a body, so I hope you don't mind if I hijack the thread for a minute! I have a regular XXT, and I've been trying to find a clear body for it for a while now. I just purchased an uncut XXT-CR body for it. I know the chassis is about a 1/4" longer on the CR, but will the body fit the regular chassis? Are both bodies (#8016 and 8017) interchangeable? I'd rather not cut up the body to find out Thanks in advance!
