Re: #6002 - RC10 Worlds Car Kit
Finished out-of-box build.

Wish I had a decent camera.
Need to get some gear to get it ready to run, though. Was thinking Reedy or Novak. Any thoughts? What brushless would be equivalent to say a 12- or 10-turn brushed?

I was thinking the same thing! Should be green or black! I don't like the shocks, so my runner will be old school Teflon with white collars and retainers! May even use an original slipper!Rootdown4594 wrote:the silver springs don't look quite right

You'd have to get ones for 3/16 rear axles, and swap out the wide front axles for the original style.

Yeah, I've got a NOS upper shaft, slipper, and green springs too. What I want to find is some true Worlds wheels.

Re: #6002 - RC10 Worlds Car Kit
Anyone else having problems with their order for one of these from Tower?
I got an e-mail showing the kit that I pre-ordered was shipped a few days ago. But I didn't get a tracking number and the charge was made to my account but doesn't show up on my statement. The Pro-Line Mirage body that I pre-ordered at the same time also shipped without any tracking and evidence on my account. It's a little sketchy that a company can take $250 from you at any time without any real proof. The same exact thing actually happened when I pre-ordered my Classic kit. They don't charge you for backordered parts at the time of ordering, but instead make individual charges for each shipped item without any trace.

Someone's willing to pay for $500 + $60 shipping on this re-release worlds car.
But this early production sold for under $400.

Re: #6002 - RC10 Worlds Car Kit
That's odd. The shipping notification emails I've received have always included a tracking number. And whenever that happens, there's also an entry in the online order history showing the item and the tracking info. Perhaps their customer service folks can explain it?LTO_Dave wrote:Anyone else having problems with their order for one of these from Tower?

Mine should be here today, but it will have to wait until I clear my table of all my JRX2s.
I miss brushed motors in that hazy, everything seemed better when I was a kid, kind of way.
