Got this rare 1/10 Supermodified body from Dirtdiver today. This will be going on either an RC10LSS or L3 all vintage resto. The body has been cut roughly in some places but since it's a supermod I can make modifications that look like they belong there with no problem.

Unsure of the maker. Parma?

Reminds me of the late 80's supermods.

Also got my Associated shocks and a new servo and servo saver for my current supermod project.

Annoyingly the spring adjustment nut is actually white so I had to break out the RIT. I've stripped the anno from one and polished and assembled it. I'm impressed with the quality and smoothness of these little shocks. These will work perfectly.

Major changes coming to my Supermod project. :D

No shock tower, shocks or RC10 bell cranks on the front equals weight savings and scale looks. The reason I'm holding out on updates to the project. I also looked at a vintage Custom Works front suspension but decided this one would be easier to fit.

I know of a hobby shop that has(maybe had) two or three of those Cheetah front ends NIP collecting dust in a display case...problem is they still demand full price for them and the kits were expensive BITD. :|

You're going to put that Cheeatah front end on the BME chassis? Cause BME actually made a similar beam front end and it'd be a more fitting match. There happens to be one on eBay right now too.

Can you PM me a link to that BME front end? I only paid $44.00 for that front end and extra parts with free shipping. I was going to build my own front chassis plate and extend the center beam.

Anyone want to guess what it is???? I'm guessing you won't be able to......

Unfortunately, I'm working 400kms away, so can't open it for another two days..... the suspense hurts a bit.....

Alex
Thanks to marlo for guessing, but not quite correct...

Got home after working away for a few days, and finally got to open the box. After removing all the packaging and packing peanuts, this is what I was left with....

I think it was worth the wait...

When I knew it was coming, I was 100% certain I was going to build it - I'm not really a NIB guy. However, now that it's here..... with all those lovely blisters..... :?:

Nah, I will build it, some time when I have a whole weekend to play with, and can really enjoy it. Might even have to do my very first build thread!
