Yet another T2

Post by sandkil »

Yep one more for you! This I have been working on for at least a year or so. The final piece to fall in place was a new chassis and universals.
I'm so happy with the result so i will not do a paint job on the body and will not (I think) install electrics in it. Just keeping it clean.
This surely is a kickass truck

Super Sweet end results!!!

I dont blame you on not painting the body...its so much nicer to see past it and view the hardware.

Very Clean!

Very nice and clean sandkil! 8) It looks new, did you have to do a lot of work to restore it?

Urpaldan, it looks new because it is.

Thanx man! This started as a worn down truck.
I have picked up a part here and there and over time it has all come together. For a while I thought that AE had discontinued the body (that was not the case) and starting searching hi and low. The same with the chassis, but after talking with the good fellows here on RC10Talk it is like they say. It will eventually turn up on the bay and it did.

You made a great job on it buddy! It can be a pain tracking down parts on ebay and it sometimes takes awhile. Ultimately its very satisfying when the last part needed arrives! Looks like this one was well worth it.....

Wow, that's nice. I said it was a new truck because I thought you ended up replacing almost every part.
