I like how they reference cutting off the ears of the bulkhead for a more authentic worlds car... nice touch!

Rear bulkhead lacks the proper worlds holes, and they want the head of the diff bolt on the spur side, that's backwards from the norm

Dose it not loosen if you have the bolt head on the drivers side ?

It's the reason I flipped the diff in mine so the bolt head is on the spur side
If I'm remembering it correctly it was a Racers Tip

What addtional worlds holes are you referring to? There is already an additional hole inside apart from the array of 9.
Without a thrust bearing the orientation would matter a little more, however, that is the purpose of the thrust bearing is to allow each outdrive to spin at different speeds. One direction or the other does not tighten or loosen the nut. Also, our convention for a while has been to have the screw head on the slipper side.

Also, the long wheelbase has been preferred, especially for today's level of grip and types of tracks we run on.

Lastly, the car does have less toe than the original. The inner block is the same as the classic and the new rear hubs are 0deg. We've found that often times on the modern tracks the WC is almost too locked in. We do also still have #7358 3deg toe hubs available for those that are racing on loamy loose tracks.

Well, that shows how long I've been out of the game lol! We always...ALWAYS...ran the adjustment on the left. Not sure why, as I understand how a thrust bearing works

Edit...wow, 20 years I've been building them wrong! Lol!

A 2nd series bulkhead on left (same as rere), original worlds style on right. Outer 6 holes were removed, but one was added in the middle.

Always thought the bolt head has always been on the slipper side, certainly was when stealth gearbox first came out.

I had to go back and check a manual...holy crap your correct...I'm blown away, I would swear it was opposite lol. Mind...blown!

As far as the extra hole shown above, in the original worlds kit that was the hole that they wanted you to start with

Again, I truly hope Associated does a better job on QC. Not only the RC10 classic missing my spline plate but now I'm putting a B5M together. Missing one CVA PN 91438 and now the damn out drive is screwed. Like have to force the dog bone in. Just terrible work here on what looks to be a kickass car. Come on Associated, pull your head out!!!!!

Thanks for the confirmation on the rear toe Tim mate... Thought the 0degree could have been a typo but not the case so thanks for that mate... We are going to need to use the 1.5 or 3 degrees hubs over here for total of 3 to 4.5 degree or find more of the 3 degree arm mounts.. +1 on the white wide track arms...+1 on the 3 degree rear arm mounts AE...Thanks

anyone notice the new idler, and the case is different (due to the new idler,) the bearings are no longer in the case but are in the idler and the case has the motor plate spacers built into it.

also off set spring cups on just the front must be due to the .89 bodies. i use the them on both my f/r on my car so i don't need so many spring clip in the front and can get proper ride height with the 1.32 thread bodies .
and silver springs front and rear

Yes the trans case was discussed- the worlds has the new case design with updated idler, but the old style case is available as well, and comes in the trans kit.

So the front shock bodies are .89" stroke now? What happened to the .71" threaded fronts. :x
