Mike that thing is awsome!!!! You did great work. My son is drooling over it. He wants one like it but a baja truck with a spare tire and all the bells and whistles. Holly cow, you have an amazing talent.

Re: All Alloy Tube Chassis (VERY VERY near completion)
hey mike, i was talking to a french driver last night and the big thing for 2008 seems to be 5 cell setups. Might help you keeping the weight down and make room to mount the electronics lower down!
But otherwise, call it a day and start the ones you gonna build us

Looks great, can't wait for mine! Hehe, should have all the kinks worked out by #15 right? either that or you're gonna be completely disgusted in the end by making 15 of these

Mike, from experience...... 25 is a good number to go with. That is usually the number I either get stuff made or make myself. You should be good with that qty.
I am not here cause I am playing photographer and on my mountain bike.

I think you should stamp each chassis, they look very professional and I would love to brag about my tuber decades from now and tell everyone I have a limited run

Re: All Alloy Tube Chassis (VERY VERY near completion)
if youre talking about the steering wheel an ordinary cable clamp (for running wire along walls and stuff) would work pretty killer.mikedealer wrote:im going to find or make some sort of plastic peice like a clamp to wrap around the tube and mount the wheel to it somehow... not sure hows its going to work but ill think of something, just dont want the exposed back wheel to show
you could always strip it down and braze a steering wheel mount.
