Here's a few pics of mine from the So Cal VW Treffen in Stptember

Here's a better pic of the engine

1955 VW beetle, 2332 cc, 231 hp @ 7,500 rpm on pump gas, car weighs about 1600 lbs. Limited slip diff, close ratio tranny, adjustable Konis, 16X6 w/ 195's up front, 16x7 w 205's in the back, disk brakes all around, custom interior w/ 4-pt harneses. It's a gocart with a beetle body

I have a lot of 1:1 toys.
Here are my current two that we have.
My wife's 1999 SS. It has a 408 stroker, 6 speed, 12 bolt rear, runs bottom 11's and tons of other things!

Here is my 1987 Iroc. It has a TON of things done to it including Supercharged 357 TPI, 9" rear, 6 speed, full cage, chute, 19" Auto Art wheels, etc etc. It has ran a 10.5 in 1/4 and was featured in the May 2013 GM High Tech Performance. (It was the cover car!!!!!!)

Together at the Charlotte Autofair

Re: we all have big toys too don't we? show off your ride!
Nothing currently worth mentioning in the big toy category. But two former trucks out of all my projects I actually miss.
My 72 Ford F100 SWB I bought off a family friend when I was 17. If this truck could talk, it'd expose some of my stupidity and youth. Great times. I came home on leave before reporting to Fort Stewart, GA to pick this truck from my dad's property and it was stolen. But they left the 69 Ranger parts truck. Idiots.

99 Ford Ranger I bought and was repairing the previous owner's hack job. Sadly lost my dad and this truck was a victim of no budget when paying for his expenses.

Money trap I was working on but believe I'm going to scrap out as I sold the redtop 4g63t I had for it.

Current money traps.

White one is a Slack and the Black/Yellow is a Charger. Getting set up for this years season, so RC might come to a crawl until fall!

Ditto. I remember my neighbor's mom having one and I thought it was the most awesome car ever.flipwils11 wrote:I dig the IROC, great color and takes me back!justinspeed79 wrote:That IROC is sweet!

Thanks guys!
It's been a long project and, of course, is never ending, but I love it!

Love the old Ford truck and although not much of an IROC fan I'm digging that one. I love the chin spoiler.
