Would be really nice if they´d re-release it

Yes I know, mine are the BLUE BIRD Baja Growler, but it´s just like AA meetings, You feel compelled to share.
What parts are those? can you use optima parts?

As for the Baja growler, I have one that's just waiting for a light restoration. luckily, the rear tower mount is not broken.

HI!... No one?
I think this is an early Yokomo, I have a similar one and have always believed it to be one.

Yes, Yokomo DeTomaso Pantera

I was just bragging, mine are Baja growlers :D
The first I got had never been ran - It was missing the front c-hubs and steering knuckles. It came with broken "ears" where the upper rear shock mount attaches. But luckily it came with a complete new gearbox - cool.

I installed the new gearbox and ...... broke the mounts of when mounting the shock mount

Last Year I bought another Growler with intact gearbox ears, just like the first one, never ran.
When I received it, the "ears" had broken of - bugger. Never mind I thought, Just steal those fine new C-hubs and steering knuckles and put them on the first one. Yeah right.. They were badly cracked around the screw holes - worse than any Marui or Tamiya I´ve ever come across.

So now they´re both in bits on my desk and has been for a while

I'm pretty sure that's a Tamiya Cheetah or XR311 chassis. The wheels are from the Cheetah.

That would be a Kyosho Super Sports, I recognise it from the chassis addons (switch mounts) and the rear beam 'suspension' parts... from TamiyaClub, http://www.tamiyaclub.com/showroom_model.asp?cid=15011&id=126.

A chassis pic of the one I used to have....

Hello I'm wondering if this is a yoke for a schumacher diff. If so are both sides the same? Or does one side have a hex molded in to hold a nut? Any idea where I might be able to find some?

Thanks

Looks very much like an outdrive to a Schuey diff to me (is that the same as a yoke? I lost track of all the terminology!)

I can't remember if they're the same on both sides but the axle bolt that goes through is a flat head (so you can put a screwdriver in sideways in-situ to adjust it!) and the head sits on a very fiddly thrust race. The other side is a captive nyloc hex-nut as you described.

If you're stuck then I may have some still, but the garage is cold and wet right now so you'll have to wait until it dries up a little!
