Is it avid that makes the big bore spring cups?Orange wrote:I put big bores on my RC10... They look right at home on there! And if I ran V2's, they would also get Big Bore springs adapted on them. Talk about rubbing springs! Not a fan of having to sand them to make them work semi right. I would run older kyosho springs before that happened.

Adam - Ghea makes the Adjustable collars. And then you use AE spring cups.abailey21 wrote:Is it avid that makes the big bore spring cups?Orange wrote:I put big bores on my RC10... I think some people use the stock collars with some traxxas collars as well, its a much cheaper way to do it, but I'm not sure which collars are used.

Yes... Forget about that all the time! I mostly like them because I don't have to worry about breakage! If I break one of these, I really, really suck!Charlie don't surf wrote:With double the "angle of the dangle"Orange wrote:Yes... You'd probably be more likely to break an arm or pull the screw out of the chassis.

You can actually use Traxxas parts.

Re: #6002 - RC10 Worlds Car Kit
AE has listed most of the parts that are new for the worlds.. Something struck me is that rear hubs, they are listed as 0 degree and since they aren't doing 3 degree arm mounts the worlds has 1½ degree rear toe in. On the plus side is the stealth case and spacers, front and rear towers are listed, the stealth spacers and cap are listed under the idler link which is probably a mistake.. Hopefully the rear hubs are actually 1½ or 3 degrees... Almost forgot the 30 degree front caster block in white and the inline steering block also in white.. Awesome keep up the great work TEAM ASSOCIATED...

Re: #6002 - RC10 Worlds Car Kit
so redrc has some more pics of bk's worlds car from the jconcepts winter nationals:
http://events.redrc.net/2014/02/chassis-focus-kinwald-rc10-classic-b5/
and compares it to the b5. it is good to know that he can turn the same fast lap with a worlds as with a b5.

Getting back to the "Worlds" Graphite because I missed a few pages and responses....
Only reason I said that, is because a few years ago when I was calling it that it seemed important by some to inform me that there was no such thing as a worlds graphite....
Glad I could return the favor on something that makes no difference.
