It looks cool but not much much bite, unless You run it on longhaired carpet.


Multiple steel spikes in a rubber tire would do better.

I think this would corner better on ice, but regardless of what you do as far as tires R/C cars are just too light to get really great traction on ice. It would be fun once slowly brought up to speed though. It would be fun to see that thing throw some ice under throttle. :D Tracks have a hard time getting Turn Marshalls on the track as it is. Imagine if this became a racing class. You'd have to keep an ambulance on stand-by... :lol:

True, they are too light for much to work, but if you think about it, these saw chains should actually bite into the ice as their drug through it, where a spike simply slides across the top. It would be a kick to see this thing actually run.

Love the turn marshalling thoughts! LOL :lol:

hmmmm. I agree that the weight to traction ratio could be off a bit but what if this idea was strapped to a HPI Baja ??
