thanks.. i was going to get red, but there are a ton of red tubes out there.. wanted something different.. and originally i was going to get chrome plated then gold plated, but the chroming places i talked to said there is no way it would come out decent.

Silver looks good i think for sure, it hid every weld and sand marking on the chassis, looks totally flawless

i would have banned you if you powdered it red.... 8)

i did manage to rebraze my shock mount. i'm going to try to get the darn thing put back together here soon. in case any of you guys want a cheap and good powdercoating guy, doublej from rccrawler and scale4x4 does them for about 40 bucks a pop as well.

and mike, i GOTTA say seeing yours all powdered up really makes me wish mine was more like yours. freaking amazing work dude...

thanks for the nice words man, i dont even think i ever honestly considered red as a color, i have a strong hatred toward red since my old job i was at for like 4 years had RED walls, and when i say red, i mean ronald mcdonald hair red, the whole place... so ive had enough red for my lifetime lol.

threw the front end on this morning... gotta work on mounting the driver next at a slight angle, hard to explain what i did wrong, but i gotta mount him at a angle to get the steering wheel to be flush against the chassis.

the 2 nuts above the servo saver i made originally for body panel mounting, but i am going to get a peice of aluminum engraved and cut it kinda like a decorative cross chassis brace, lol hard to explain, but when i get back from the trophy shop later ill post pics lol.
