Lhs in central florida???

Post by Bong024 »

Looking for a decent lhs in central florida. I have some time off this week and don't mind a little traveling. I have a big box hobby shop in town that just feels soulless to me. If you guys can recommend somewhere it would be most appreciated!!

There used to be a nice little hometown type shop in Spring Hill on rt19 (IIRC). I forget the name, but I went there a few times when I lived in that area, and I actually sold one of the guys there one of my GT's and a bunch of other stuff before I moved from there.

I've heard that there are a couple good ones in Tampa, butI've never been to them.

Just did a Google search and it was B&B hobbies in Hudson Fla. Google reviews are mixed, but I remember it being a pretty cool place, granted that was about 12 years ago. Damn, can't believe that was 12 years ago!

Reminds me...
I was in a HobbyTown I think, in Melbourne or somewhere around the Spacecoast, and I heard the manager complaining that he'll never sell the Kyosho Blizzard they had.
I died laughing.

I went to superior today. I was very impressed by the shop. Clean and well organized. The staff is A+, very helpful and quite knowledgeable. I think I have found my own lhs. Thanks everyone for your help. If your in the orlando area check them out!!!
