Really though, just wishful thinking with all the team/world car talk. It's fun to speculate.
Tower had linked to the RC10T from a product page. One of the few discontinued kits on AE's website that doesnt mention that it is discontinued)

Does that mean it won't come fitted with this body?
I assume it will still come with a Turbo Mirage shell of sorts if it's an RC10 Worlds Car....I guess Craig was just saying he's on the box again as the pic of BK on Craig's shoulders was removed from the later Worlds kits around 1994.

i still think the detonator looks better, i don't know what it is about this proline body but i looks off,
Oh boy, here we go JC vs. Pro-Line...
I think the Detonator body is meant more for the RC10 Classic than the World's car, as the Classic bodies had a different, wider cab shape. I personally like the style of the Viper/Mirage bodies. They're curvier and, I think, have better proportions. The Detonator looks like it took a dive off the ugly tree and hit every branch on the way down. That being said, the only JC bodies I've ever really liked are their Hi-Flow 4x4 SC body and their Illuzion body for the original B44. All the rest have way too many sharp angles. Not for me. This Pro-Line body would go quite nicely with a blue Team Car I've been working on.
Anyway, I am tempted to get one of these re-res and just put it on a shelf. I have plenty of vintage runners, but a NIB, still-in-the-wrapper World's Car would be awesome.
Can someone point out the differences in detail between the Mirage SS & Turbo bodies? From doing a spot of googling I honestly cannot see how they are any different.

The easiest thing to note is that the Turbo Mirage has an addition little scoop side-pod on top of the left side of the body. Also, the top of the Mirage SS body is a narrower than the Turbo Mirage which has a flatter section that covers up more of the rear tower.

It does look good but would so prefer the Mirage Turbo so much more. I may still pick one up just to have but I'll stick with the Detonator for now. Hopefully a good version of the Turbo will come with the Worlds Kit if it released.
A little side project.
I’ve had this in a drawer for a while and decided to get it cleaned.
It’s quite impressive what a thorough clean can result in.
Boiling water.
Simple green.
Toothbrush and pipe cleaners.
Brass brush on the Dremel and...

Final piece added.
The correct RPM springs.
If you need a pair, just send an email to RPM. They still have a stash.
I've putting together an all-in-one kit for those that want to get their boxart rere Kinwald cars a little closer to the original, or for those who are looking to make a correct replica. The kit will contain:
1 - Front shock tower in 2.5mm 3k woven...

I kinda doubt it. Too high of a material cost and I doubt the demand is there to make it worthwhile.
I need some help remembering the details from back in the day. So I have an RPM kit still in the bags never opened and I just don't have any love for it as an RPM car. Does the RPM kit actually duplicate a certain one off car or are some of the...

yes, I had one of those too bitd, flipped the front around to put the tower in front, still have some of the og deck standoffs in my box. I never detailed it to be like masamis but that is how I am leaning. I guess it's just a matter of committing...
I was just wondering if anyone is still making these chassis kits, either the NIX91 or the Justin/Fred version? Maybe someone has a spare that they'd like to sell or trade?
Thanks in advance

Actually, as another option, if you order a full set of 91 Stealth parts (Niki's for example) and this book by Steve Husting (the photos provide an excellent reference), you have pretty much everything needed to design your own chassis plates. It's...
Hi there, I recently inherited a Team Associated RC10 Worlds Car buggy from a recently deceased cousin. The car is unfortunately in a damaged state, and I would very much like to get it repaired to full working order due to the centimental value of...
