Nice to see it though!
I thought I told you about the lack of scoop the other day?
This is awesome I just sold my worlds car to fund some stuff for my shop and it bummed me out but I know the guy who has it has ocd so it will be taken care of.but I still miss it.i even have a worlds box art body and wing painted and ready for a re re worlds.i am a collector but not for resell value just to have.i also spend top dollar to buy a part so if I do sell I most times lose money or just barely break even.i am building a new b stamp buggy and was ready to tear it down to make it in to a world car but with b4 yellow wheels but glad I saw this.i brought a re re classic and for what it is I am happy.i shelf my cars a few I play with but I love looking at them.i would love a graphite tho.i have 2 one is a woin the other a once played with buggy that needed a little love to make pretty again.i love the graphites more than anyother buggy tho.just glad to see the worlds not so much about the stealth since I spent so much on out drives lol.
My pop always said i had to many iron's in the fire
chophead, im all for guys like you!. I as well am not worried about resale, I have yet to sell anything, at the same time, I only collect exactly what im after. I never collect for profit. anyone who does has my complete disdain
re-re's cheapen it. not the resale, who cares. its the hunt. its the bucket list type stuff. getting it finally.
i'm probably the only guy on the site who is against re-re's. but i'll damn well wear that flag proudly
I'm a retro radio control hipster - I only like the stuff no one bought!
Considering that I have two original Worlds Cars in very good condition that I picked up for comparable or less money than the re-re, I am not too concerned about "devaluation" of the original. Besides, if this gets people running more vintage, then all the better

Very true that picture can't be the one for re-release. The pan has scratches on the inside, servo mounts are missing and the visible screws are just like the one on the box art from the original kit box. Also the Stormer Hobbies pic is photoshopped with their decal on it.
very true...
Stormer should really put "not actual model - artistic representation" or something on that photo. If there really were photos available, Tower and Amain and those types would have a photo, and will when released from ae or proline.
I didn't know about Associated messing with us before!
"Could this be true or is it just another case of the A-Team messing with us? After all we should remember that they have embedded things like “RC10H Helicopter” and “RC10AP Airplane” in the past. Is it possible that this is just a clever trick?
Seems Stormer and Tower would have to be in on it if it was a trick.
Awesome way to remind people that Kinwald played a huge part at AE for a time. Brian certainly deserves a tip of the hat now and then and this rere would be a respectful way to do so.

The "Mirage SS" never had the scoop, only when the "Mirage Turbo" came out in 93 was this introduced. The "Turbo" was a different shell and had subtle changes over the old "Mirage SS" body, which was most noticeable with the scoop, cab profile and bigger windows.
Which makes me ask, if their is to be a "Worlds" car, then surely we are going to see the "Mirage Turbo" body introduced.
The Mirage SS (RCPS-110) is what is pictured on the RC10 Worlds box-art and was "The" body until 1991-92. Then came the Turbo Mirage (RCPS-120) which is pictured on Cliff's 1990 CE, it was produced in 2 versions, with the same part number, one scoopless (pictured) and one with the scoop (included in the 6037 Worlds car). The RCPS-110 was never released with a scoop to the public that I have seen, but Kinwald's 93 car has a Mirage SS (RCPS-110) with a scoop, at that race and in those pics

A little side project.
I’ve had this in a drawer for a while and decided to get it cleaned.
It’s quite impressive what a thorough clean can result in.
Boiling water.
Simple green.
Toothbrush and pipe cleaners.
Brass brush on the Dremel and...

Final piece added.
The correct RPM springs.
If you need a pair, just send an email to RPM. They still have a stash.
I've putting together an all-in-one kit for those that want to get their boxart rere Kinwald cars a little closer to the original, or for those who are looking to make a correct replica. The kit will contain:
1 - Front shock tower in 2.5mm 3k woven...

I kinda doubt it. Too high of a material cost and I doubt the demand is there to make it worthwhile.
I need some help remembering the details from back in the day. So I have an RPM kit still in the bags never opened and I just don't have any love for it as an RPM car. Does the RPM kit actually duplicate a certain one off car or are some of the...

yes, I had one of those too bitd, flipped the front around to put the tower in front, still have some of the og deck standoffs in my box. I never detailed it to be like masamis but that is how I am leaning. I guess it's just a matter of committing...
I was just wondering if anyone is still making these chassis kits, either the NIX91 or the Justin/Fred version? Maybe someone has a spare that they'd like to sell or trade?
Thanks in advance

Actually, as another option, if you order a full set of 91 Stealth parts (Niki's for example) and this book by Steve Husting (the photos provide an excellent reference), you have pretty much everything needed to design your own chassis plates. It's...
Hi there, I recently inherited a Team Associated RC10 Worlds Car buggy from a recently deceased cousin. The car is unfortunately in a damaged state, and I would very much like to get it repaired to full working order due to the centimental value of...
