How do you figure that? Please don't tell me we've come to base our pricing gage of TBG "standard"?
That is no standard in my book and I am not being biased.
Considering it's about twice the price of most other clear buggy bodies available, yeah, I would say it's overpriced.
I'll still probably buy one though.
I'm confused...didn't RCPS make the Mirage SS and Pro-Line made the Vision and Class 1? So why is Pro-Line now making the Mirage SS and will it actually be the same as the old RCPS body?
I will be looking forward to this.
Cheaper to buy the kit and use the parts for projects then to buy them all separately.
I already have an original Worlds Car, so Now I can try out a good paint job for it on a new body for display.
I was never so good at painting, I just like the mechanical stuff.
Love to build......need to practice painting
Associated - Worlds, B6D
Traxxas - Rad2, TCP, Stampede, Villain IV
Tamiya - CLODBUSTER
As you can see....I sold most of my cars. Funding Pinball now.

RCPS was Cliff Lett's so it's possible that AE sub-contracted Pro-Line to pull the bodies for them.
That said, it may just be the crappy paint job, or it may be my cynicism, but the new PL Mirage in that pic looks like it's missing some detailing that the old body had.
after seeing that picture of the silver mirage ss, (if it is the actual proline release) i think the detonator body is much cool, and better looking! that's right i said it!
Me guy's , I have wanted one for year and I already placed an order on stormer for one .... im pretty stoke to get one ... rere or not its still a world car ...
I don't remember the cockpit sides looking so slab sided, but I'd still hit it
It's time to stand up to the bully. Support the companies that support the industry, not the ones that tear it down. Say no to Traxxas Factory Works website
I heard there will be noticeable differences from the original... After seeing that pic, I agree. Hard to say though without having one of each side by side. Which leads me to believe its not from original molds.
I think.... This is only in my cynical mind, that this WILL be the body in the NEW worlds kit and a Turbo will not be produced, yet... Also think that this car may not be an exact copy of the old worlds car (at least not as close as the Classic was) and there may be big differences... Just more cynicism,

A little side project.
I’ve had this in a drawer for a while and decided to get it cleaned.
It’s quite impressive what a thorough clean can result in.
Boiling water.
Simple green.
Toothbrush and pipe cleaners.
Brass brush on the Dremel and...

Final piece added.
The correct RPM springs.
If you need a pair, just send an email to RPM. They still have a stash.
I've putting together an all-in-one kit for those that want to get their boxart rere Kinwald cars a little closer to the original, or for those who are looking to make a correct replica. The kit will contain:
1 - Front shock tower in 2.5mm 3k woven...

I kinda doubt it. Too high of a material cost and I doubt the demand is there to make it worthwhile.
I need some help remembering the details from back in the day. So I have an RPM kit still in the bags never opened and I just don't have any love for it as an RPM car. Does the RPM kit actually duplicate a certain one off car or are some of the...

yes, I had one of those too bitd, flipped the front around to put the tower in front, still have some of the og deck standoffs in my box. I never detailed it to be like masamis but that is how I am leaning. I guess it's just a matter of committing...
I was just wondering if anyone is still making these chassis kits, either the NIX91 or the Justin/Fred version? Maybe someone has a spare that they'd like to sell or trade?
Thanks in advance

Actually, as another option, if you order a full set of 91 Stealth parts (Niki's for example) and this book by Steve Husting (the photos provide an excellent reference), you have pretty much everything needed to design your own chassis plates. It's...
Hi there, I recently inherited a Team Associated RC10 Worlds Car buggy from a recently deceased cousin. The car is unfortunately in a damaged state, and I would very much like to get it repaired to full working order due to the centimental value of...

has the parts you need. when you go to their site, in the left hand column, click on the r/c car. then click on associated. next, click on rc10 rpm, and there will be the front tower. if you click on rc10 (early models), in there will be the rear...
