Jay's/Mrlexan's Garage
I am a bit excited and it's sometimes it's hard to contain as it's been 14 years since I last drove the car. Noting I probably only drove it 5 miles after getting it until the head gasket went and it's been sitting ever since.
Anyway, I'm gonna post pics in order of the work being done. Unfortunately I am not doing the work as I don't have the time, place or means. But a bunch of buddies that I worked with when I lived in Michigan and when I was in the industry are doing the work for me.
I'll take receipt of it in about two months, then my first show will be the 50th Anv show in Charlotte in April. Can't freggin wait.

No chance- one, nursing classes have overtaken all of that...less 6 per year.mrlexan wrote:Maybe you should put it on your bloomin onion schedule. Guaranteed to be lotz of people there.
Plus (no joke) Charlotte Motor Speedway takes 50% of your gross sales, before Mecklanburg Co takes 12% hospitality tax and NC Dept of Revenue takes it's 7% sales tax- yielding .21 gross per $1.00 taken in before all standard business costs including product, labor, ins etc. So as I calculated it running a square business, we would lose about $.48 of every dollar invested for that job...paying them to serve their customers and to take our revenue. (Rockingham dragway is the same way) You can make money there, but you have to lie, cheat and steal...and we're not that kind of operation

(sorry about the rant

Heels fan? Or is the color coincidence?
I've got a car stored in Charlotte (my old hood) if anyone wants to pick that up and deliver it to me....

No, it's the original color, Brittany Blue M1624. I could give two hoots about any college sports related.j-sou wrote:Heels fan? Or is the color coincidence?![]()

oh cool. Didn't realize it was that color! Looks babyblueish in the photo. I've rendered a couple in that color for clients.mrlexan wrote:No, it's the original color, Brittany Blue M1624.
