Welcome. Can't wait to see what you post. Pics, literature, a good story, you telling us you're deciding to start making the wheels again... Whatever will be appriciated.

Re: Hello from Tecnacraft!
I like how you threw the "you telling us you're deciding to start making the wheels again" part
We are all thinking it, might as well throw in some subtle hints. I would if I could make an extra few thousand bucks or so... just sayin

Welcome!
I don't think you'll find a more appreciative group to share your history with. There are many high performance r/c history buffs here. I'm amazed by the members here everyday.

Wow- thanks for the welcome, everyone. I think it might be a good idea to start a general Tecnacraft thread in another section where we can go through some of the stuff I have and have general Tecnacraft chat/Q&A. I looked around, but it wasn't obvious to me which section would be the most appropriate. Perhaps the mods can help- in which section should I start a new thread?

Re: Hello from Tecnacraft!
Welcome Damen.
your best bet would pry be the 'off topic' section to put it in. There is a similar style thread in there from Alec of A&L fame. Just my opinion though but maybe one of the other mods can make more educated decision if it doesn't directly fit there. As Reggie stated above some history and general info would be greatly appreciated.

Re: Hello from Tecnacraft!
if you have a lot to show, i think i would go with the other makes/models forum.
Re: Hello from Tecnacraft!
Hi everyone-
Thanks again for the welcome; we've moved the Tecnacraft chatter to a thread called "Tecnacraft legacy" in the "Other Makes/Models" section. Here's a link: http://www.rc10talk.com/viewtopic.php?f=33&t=34046. I look forward to chatting with everyone there.

Re: Hello from Tecnacraft!
Just came across this post. Welcome Damen, first I think the design your pops went with on the Tecnacraft turnbuckles was the best looking ever with quality second to none. I have used Tecnacraft on every early car I had from Associated and Losi as well as a couple of Yokomo cars I had up until I left the hobby 10 plus years ago. I got back into the hobby a couple years ago now and was bummed to find Tecnacraft gone. It will be nice to see some of its history. Thanks
