Decided to finish out the Schwarzwald races with the VW...Nurburgring was tough, took a few tries and some tweaks to the top end and rear suspension to reduce the tendency to pendulum slide around some corners. But in the end, got the win on all 3 tracks.

Not stock no doubt! I like to do vintage against modern as well, I took a modded Toyota 2000GT against Super Cars. Spank the FXX and Enzo! Must be in our blood eh?

I think its an underdog thing :) sorta like racing an RC10 against modern cars.

My VW sports 171 HP and 426 PP. I need to grab a screen shot of it...it's also red

Well JK, I can not beat one of your times today! Also I think Hoopty is a robot! I can not better most of his times. I think Hoopty needs an oil change! :P

Do you guys find that after driving GT, when you jump into your daily driver, your looking for the racing line, clipping apexes, breaking and shifting later? Or am I alone with this problem!

Both you guys are using wheels, right?

I am still using the old 27mHz 2 stick radio (base PS3 controller)...damn hard to hit those marks sometimes :)

I'll need to see Hoopty's time on IA-5 now...

i run a playseat with a logitech g27... it makes the game ALOT more fun.

one of the fastest guys i race against online is using the twin sticks. i think in some cases its much easier to get a fast lap with the ps3 controller than the wheel.

I have a g27 wheel, but I can only do gold/fast times with my pads not even sticks! Now that's old school! Some one on GTPlanet told me to get out of the 90's! I wanted to say "Screw you!"

wait a sec... now i remember looking at your times/setups and seeing that it was directional pads and not even the sticks...

nice work, but learn to use that wheel!!!

the playseat made a ton of difference for the wheel, but knowing what i know now its not worth the 250 bucks they ask for it...

Aids off? I run 1 TCS and skid recovery on! I love the wheel, I just got it when gt6 came out, so just not used to it yet.
