yeah i got around 270 cars now because of the 1.01 patch exploit.

actually, it got kinda boring buying all the cars... first i just went and bought all the 20 million cars, then all the gt cars, then all the rally cars, etc.

kinda ruined a little bit of the fun of the game. but this was before the 1.02 patch where they substatially raised the prize winnings and brought back the login bonuses.

and the wheel is a blast compared to the sticks. it completely changes the game imho.

Got my copy of GT6 for Christmas from the kids. Buzzed through a few races, downloaded the 15th anniversary DLC freebies.

Not bad, car dynamics are better than GT5, races seem easier, AI is less agressive, or I have been racing GT so long they are easy to beat :)

Wouldn't mind more RC10Talk fellow racers to join up with, just send a request to JK Racing on PSN.

i think my old nomadio react did that. i remember there was something to it that could be changed to control a pc.

ill look up jk racing on psn. i try to race clean but i get really bored racing against people who take it serious. if i (or you) spin out, i appreciate the other racer holding up and keeping it fun rather than try to catch up, and spin out, repeat.

i got a friend who likes to race with everything disabled and on comfort softs or sports hards, and then he just drives safe (but fast) until someone makes a mistake, then just keeps driving safe (but fast..) and doesnt slow down. and with the settings all disabled and on hard tires it makes it pretty impossible to catch back up.

I like that with the online time trials, it shows you the other racers in your group and how you rank with them. I always got a good laugh when I would be ranked 98,000 something but still got the gold trophy. I dont think I have ever broken into the under 10,000 range.

BTW, SlotCarRod, it took me a little bit, but I beat your time on the 15th anniversary Apricot Hill time trial :)

I dont do much head to head online racing anymore, GT5 I got heavy into it (muscle cars on Daytona) but there were so many whiners that wouldnt take the time to set their cars up and do testing to keep up with the pack. Really ruined it for me. I loved a group of 10+ guys all doing 240+ in a tight group drafting and driving clean. Then the server glitching started, the PSN was hacked and it pretty much killed it for me.

Let's see if we can change this with GT6 though :)

I wish I could use my Futaba 3PKS! If any one knows a trick or mod to get a pistol grip type radio to work with a PS3, please let me know! I know I would rock with a radio!

So, I am already trying to win races with much underpowered cars...best win, Swarzwald League, Race 2 - with a 66 VW beetle.
