I guess this works...
I was looking through some old school electronics to use in my frog and found a rather strange way of protecting an esc. Look at the red battery wire.


Almost all my posts will be edited because I know what I want to write, but my fingers always hit the wrong keys.

That was very common bitd. The mc210cb (one gen newer) had the fuse holder built into the case. The early novaks and tekins also used an inline fuse

Okay, that is very cool! I am a seven year racer, but have never really known anything about vintage cars. Guess you learn something new every day.

a common mod BITD, it was good one,. saved me a couple of esc's.. hahah... that one will work great, just don't reverse the polarity (we were using deans , old style)...

I don't even think it was a mod, those old Novak ESCs came with the fuse included and instructions how to solder it in.

It was a mod for THAT speed control. It was normal for others

Not as elegant as an in-line fuse holder, but it worked well and the flats made them dead-simple to solder.
