As cool as it is to see a body for the car, what disappointment that it looks like that.

White, yellow and black? Purple chassis? Ughhh.......

Wow! This is awesome news for sure, thanks for the pictures Luke! I am not sure how you guys can make out some of the decals, but I really appreciate the help! I believe I have the Novak decals. The small MIP decals stacked in 3's seem to be difficult to find. I have them in white, but no yellow. As far as the body goes, would you say Viper or Turbo Mirage? I am not certain of the differences between the two bodies? It also looks to me like the front wheels are smaller diameter than the rears. I know the rears to be 2.2.

Nice update with this build!

I think I may have the blue and black Novak decal. I also have a sheet with the three yellow MIP's, but they seem too large to fit in the same area as on your car :?:

Could the pink one on the wing be an RCPS decal? It sure does look like an Orion logo, though.

They must have consulted with the guy in the blue, yellow and black high tops and cranberry pants.

The standard MIP decals that come with most of their products are too big.

I have the a new Orion sheet from that period, I can check the spacing and size on a wing to see if it looks right (and the Medium Novak that I think it might be)

Those MIP logo stacks are in MIP parts from the 93' era- I probably have those in some early CVD kits-
there is one on the top of the side-pod of that shell too-

I have quite a few MIP sheets from that era, but they are all too big. I have one sheet of white that is the correct size. Here is the sheet I need, but in yellow:

Those seem like they would be pretty easy to replicate if original isn't a priority. But a car with this history almost deserves original parts.

I will look in to having them replicated, if it comes to that, but sure would like some originals if possible. I am going to need quite a few of them though, so may have to go the repro route? I know you have had some done Romulus, so I may need to get some info from you on that? I do not know anyone locally that can do them for me? I also need the flaming Pro-line decals that can be seen on the side of the chassis as well. Now that I have seen what the body looks like, I will have to go through my box of decals to see what all I have. Next thing is going to be finding someone that can replicate this paint job!

Your welcome to these MIP stickers, the Orion ones are for another build, but it does fit size in that pic- the Novak one I had was too big-

Wow, what a cool piece of history! Even better yet: It's in Portland! Hopefully I'm able to cross paths with you sometime to see the car in person!

Awesome to hear Mr. Moore himself get interested in the project. Maybe he has some of the old stickers laying around the warehouse somewhere?
