More likely owners have too much money and not enough skill. You must respect speed as it can take you out in a heartbeat.

Ouch. That's a pretty low blow given the circumstances. :?

Oh well, if you drive like a dumbass you end up in the pictures above
That seems pretty harsh regardless of what happened, but if the reports are correct he wasn't driving.

He was not driving from what I have read, Either way... accidents are the worst. My sentiments go out to his closest. :(

Although I do not like really dumb car movies like this or gone in 60 etc, it is sad to see this news. Although maybe it will make some think twice before exceeding their skill level behind the wheel.

RIP Paul Walker, I enjoyed his movies, but I still think they'll get another guy.

That's pretty terrible. My condolences to his family. Not a fan of the movies much but still a shame.

According to various news reports, the driver was listed as Roger Rodas. He was an experienced race car driver who had two wins in the Pirelli Driver's Cup with Porsche and later moved up to the Pirelli World Challenge Series driving #52 Mustang Boss. He had his best finish in Toronto with a 5th place. Roger is also listed as owner of the Rodas Group (Financial Advisors) and the owner of Cielo Recycling.

So I guess the lesson here is: if you do a movie about street racing, stay away from Porsches...

Completely agree, when I read about it I also was like, wtf, another Carrera GT fatality?
