Re: RC10 MIP 4-10 Legend Build
Funny how this build changed just because the car got some history. Keep up the good work and good luck finding the needed parts, for sure not a easy task!

Re: RC10 MIP 4-10 Legend Build
Well, it seems that Mr. Hightower does not want to be contacted. Not sure why? Unless some other photos surface of this car, I am on my own. I changed out the rear tires for something that looks a little closer. Have not had much time to work on this one lately. Hopefully will have an update soon.

Re: RC10 MIP 4-10 Legend Build
**Update** I swapped out the rear tires, mounted the front wheels (they are not staying) on just to make it a roller, and I installed the Peak motor.
Thanks to Aaron (Aip47-2008), I may have the "Mipet" I need soon. Keeping my fingers crossed!

Re: RC10 MIP 4-10 Legend Build
looking great todd. keep an eye on ebay for some used mip front wheels. they pop up every now and then.
keep your fingers cross with mr. hightower. he probably is a busy guy. i know i would be interested to know what was going on with an old rig of mine that was getting rebuilt. any idea on what body was used?

Re: RC10 MIP 4-10 Legend Build
I have sent so many messages to contacts and even family that I am not "friended" on Facebook and have NEVER got a reply. I doubt the messages ever see the recipient

Hard to say, I just don't trust Facebook anymore
I am sure if Thomas was a big time racer he knew Kelly, maybe there is a way to hook up via Kelly? I sent a message to Lundsford about the Bullet and got a message back from kelly just a few days later

It is worth a shot. The pictures of the car at the 93' Worlds don't show it to have Lunsford turnbuckles, but almost all of the cars I got had Lunsford Titanium on them.

Well, I sent another email to Eustace Moore in hopes that he can provide some more information. We will see.

Re: RC10 MIP 4-10 Legend Build
There were no turnbuckles on the car when I got it, only the link from the servo to the bell crank, which was all-thread.littleVETTE wrote:no rcps turnbuckles?Vintagemishal wrote:It is worth a shot. Re: RC10 MIP 4-10 Legend Build
You must be able to see better than I can! I cannot make out the molded shock caps as opposed to the black aluminum caps. No shocks were on the car either, so I used some that I had. I have some molded caps, so I can change those out if that is what it had.
