Looks like a heck of a score! Must've been some decent wheels you had.
the sad part is i dont even like nitro .. i just cant leave anything stock
Big block nitro in a tough 1/8 buggy or truggy is a whole different animal. I have an OFNA Ultra LX Comp with an LRP ZR.32 Spec 2, it is one quick buggy. And that's not even the hottest motor out there, just a darned good off road engine for $200.

The OFNA Force .32 you have is a solid performer. It's no LRP/OS/RB/Picco/Nova, but reliable, durable and easy to tune. I have the same engine in an RC10GT:

In this truck, it is WAY too much power. Totally uncontrollable at more 1/4 throttle. Fun, though  But in that OFNA truggy, you'll be very pleased with the strong, smooth power. Not a high RPM screamer, but a great off-road engine.

If you do decide to convert to brushless, let me know what you'd want for the engine; I need a good replacement for the weak TLR .26SS in my Mega Baja.

I run Savox SC-0252MG servos in my Ultra Comp. Pretty good bang for the buck at $37.

Guess it depends on what you want to do with it, but I like 30-40wt shock oil and 20k in the diffs.

The common diff rates are 7k-10k front, 5k center, 3k-5k rear. shocks are typically 30-40

Oops...you probably should've installed screws in those holes prior to the Linex treatment! That's what you have to do for powdercoating and even chrome plating, or you end up having to re-tap everything.

What's the skinny on Linex? Never heard of it before...what are the pros & cons of that finish?

Tough stuff. AR500armor uses it as an anti-spawl coating on their level III ballistic plates. Bullets tear it up, but I expect it'll last a long time on an RC car.

this is a company near us that do spray in box liners for trucks .. they happend to be doing a safety trailer in yellow so they where able to do this instead of the normal black http://www.linex.com/

i wasnt worred about the screw holes as i just ran a drill throu them and used a bigger bit for the counter sink

I was checking out your line-x treatment to your chassis. Interesting. I checked out the website and have a question for you. How did you get the top finish so smooth?

Thanks
