I am now wondering what an RC10 graphite will look like with a Hornet body dropped on it

Nice grasshopper.
I'd like to see my local race track push grasshoppers for a new winter offroad class. Don't think it would go over, but it would be fun to race (maybe once). The hobby shop could also make a bunch of money on broken parts.

Unmodified Hornets/Grasshoppers are useless. I once "raced" mine. It fell over at the first corner
They only go in a striaght line up the street!

I did a rebuild of my old Hopper.. Is this "racey" enough?
Nothing too much but "Hopped" up a bit.. CRP front shock conversion, Hornet rear shock conversion, full bearings and Proline tires.. Added an ESC and a 540 silvercan motor for my nephew but I did run an old Trinity "Monster Horsepower" stock motor for a little bit before I "retired" my hopper until last year.. There are more pics at Tamiya base or in my photobucket..

Take a TRF201 and mod the Grasshopper body on it. Will look impressive around the track until they look under the hood lol.

Yup but 20+ years ago it wasn't around..
I did that after I snapped off one of the old shock like towers when I was like 12 ish..
It was my first real modification ever on an RC..

Here's mine. Mostly cosmetic upgrades with some homemade alloy body panels.
I added nerf bars, front and rear shock upgrades, sport tuned and later on soem alloy wheels hubs.
The original wheels / tires shown pre decals are traxxas bullet.
Actually one of my cars that is going on the bay to fund other more expensive projects!

that one is pushing it IMO, betcha there is a three gear trans back there.
pretty much just used part of the chassis and the body, still cool though.
