Folding studio photo kit

Post by DMAT »

Looking for one of these so I can take some decent photos of my cars. Only real requirement is that It can be compacted into a smaller for for storage. I dont really know whats good or bad and dont have much lighting capability at moment either.

preferably cheap

There are a lot of good ideas in here. Most of them pretty much break right down for easy storage.

Some 1 inch pvc with some elbows will make super quick work and will literally fold up into nothing as long as you don't glue the pieces together. Get some white poster board for the background and you are set.

I threw my photo box away but I need to build another one. It really makes taking great pictures really simple. Good luck if you decide to build one.

i made a pretty nice one with pvc pipe covered with a white sheet to diffuse the light, a couple halogen shop lights, and a roll of white paper used for a sweep.

i built it about 3x3', worked out really nice.
