Re: Restoring an old RC10T2
excellent. have you tried going to a hobby shop and asking to see if they could order you that t2 body? you could always get in contact with associated and find out what dealers they deal with near your area.

Re: Restoring an old RC10T2
Yes I asked some official AE dealers and get the same answer from all: out of stock, no longer produced...
I could order one on rc10.com...but $45 shipping costs? No, thanks...

Re: Restoring an old RC10T2
The only place I've seen the T2 bodies is through Team Associated. I had them shipped to Australia.
Read my complaint here about Team Associateds shipping chart, $70 to post one body. http://www.rc10talk.com/viewtopic.php?f=49&t=30966
I ended up ordering five T2 bodies and the postage was much less for all of them then was listed for one.
I'd suggest contacting them.

Re: Restoring an old RC10T2
I've made some progress today....
Unfortunately I noticed that screws heads look out of place, hanging down on the chassis...
Now I have to wait for the last spare parts. I got from liquid rc still no shipping confirmation :-/
I used a lot of new parts because I decided to use the old one for a second T2 project.
New diff case, new towers, new suspension mounts...take a look

Re: Restoring an old RC10T2
these are the parts you powder coated right? that could be why your screws are hanging. try using a countersink bit to remove some of that powder coat. that should make your screws more flush with your chassis. i had the same problem with all the screws on my t2 tub too.

Re: Restoring an old RC10T2
Does anyone have any pictures from the winning T2 trucks at 1994 ROAR Truck Nationals or NORRCA Electric Truck World Cup?

Re: Restoring an old RC10T2
for 1994 roar truck nats they were still using the rc10t. but the other norrca event, that you are mentioning, was from 1997. this is pavidis's norrca world cup rc10t2 winning truck....

Hi Danny I have the same truck but its been sitting for a few years, other cars to work on. If you neeed a battery strap try sheldons hobbies, they also sell thru ebay give them a try.The truck is looking nice, keep up the great work.
