it sure out performed any Friggin Out Right Disaster on the road today.

The box that Tower boxed the RC10 box in might be from China. And they taped it too much. Or too little.scr8p wrote:alright, enough of this real car talk. let's get back to pissing and moaning about the fit and finish of this kit, and/or it's country of production.
Just put electrical tape over it, fixes it every timescr8p wrote:..... oh the light it's so bright.........
Haha. scr8p is on a roll today. What was the disaster on the road? Funny or not so much.scr8p wrote:I've read that in ford services manuals too.
LMAO! Back in the 90's (dont remember the model)one of their "fixes" for a wind noise was just that...black electrical tape.scr8p wrote:I've read that in ford services manuals too.

I was 11 when I built mine, not sure that I can remember. Also I'm still waiting on a few parts before I break the seal on mine.badhoopty wrote:how many of you guys who have built an original rc10 (from a nib kit) and recently bought and built a rere think the rere is produced to a lower standard regarding fit and finish?
the only real difference i noticed (besides obvious changes like the shocks) is that the rere requirs no drilling of the servo posts. and imho thats better than the og.
