Lexan Part Identity

I hate to be "that guy" again.
But I got huge box of stuff and this part has me stumped. It had an A&L header card with no label but I contacted A&L and they said it wasn't ever made by them.

It looks like maybe Lexan wheel fenders maybe for some sort of open wheeled car. Not really sure. Anyone have guess on what it is or who made it?

That is what I was seeing as well, I wonder if they made those for the early gas conversion trucks to relocate the rear tower humps

Oh, that could be. I didn't even see that until now. Goes to show what someone with a different perspective sees.

I looked closer at the bag and sure looks like original A&L part despite what he said. Doesn't look re-stapled or re packaged. But who knows, could have been very careful repackaging by someone.

If it is A&L, don't think it is in that catalog. But sure did make me aware of a bunch stuff I never knew they and Factory Works made.

It could be some limited production piece too, it didn't take too long for truck bodies to grow those humps out back

That's a very interesting piece. It would make sense that it was a gas conversion part. Another thing to consider is that that rear section is always the first part of the body to get torn up on a stadium truck.

You used to be able to buy the rear shock section of truck bodies (10T especially) because the body mounts would break through. It was a "repair" kit of sorts.

Cant remember who made it right now, but I know I bought many of them
