RC10 SE

Post by knucklebuster »

Some time ago I built the front nose up with RPM Losi SE Pro (?) arms. It is a work in progress and needs a few parts to finish. The width up front is spot on. The wheelbase is approximately 1/8" longer depending on suspension setup.

As shown, the steering tie rods rub the camber tie rods when the suspension is fully compressed. This is partly due to the fact that I added nylon spacers under the bell cranks because the bell cranks were rubbing the chassis

In the meantime, I stole from the B4 design and placed the ball studs on the front of the shock tower to eliminate rubbing. I will also try other bell crank options. I will swap out the front 15 degree carriers for 30 degree. I need to locate one 1 7/8" hinge pin. Lastly, I need to drill and tap nose tubes.

What type of hinge pin? I just went through all mine, and I have 1 1/2, or 2 1/4...nothing in between.

It's looking good so far...very clean job.
The older I get, the faster I was.

Thanks Russ. I believe it is for the Losi SE Pro... I have to find the header card for the arms.
