I've always had problems with the front body post
I end up with ugly elongated holes
That's when I got the idea to make a vertical 30 degree body post thingiey

Now isn't that ingenious? Although I will be going with the body mount on top of the bell cranks for my t2 buggy... reduces parts count that way

HI!... Anyone know who makes the shock spring collars in that pic that was posted? Are they off a existing car? After market? Or one off's?

I believe they are the earliest collars
It's just an alloy ring with a set screw
Any one else wanna chip in ?

HI!... I've seen that same collar several times over the years. Some have 2 set screws in them, others have had 3.SnoopMaxx wrote:I believe they are the earliest collars

Re: Roger Curtis ..Replica ??
CRP for one had them, delta used the same type as well, also the early yokomos I have had used them. Oh, and kyosho CB shocks.
Now, I am not sure about the diameters of the above rings, just that they were that style.

It's time to stand up to the bully. Support the companies that support the industry, not the ones that tear it down. Say no to Traxxas

Re: Roger Curtis ..Replica ??
You are going to want the earlier style. Those in gomach's (with a moving CRP logo header) are too late. I would bet the ones in the photo are the ones intended for the Kyosho CB88's. They don't have the spring centralizer lip but just a rounded groove in the bottom of the collar. I'll look around for a pic.
The one on the left is the real deal (the one on the right was expertly machined by Jake/Seabass), Everything CRP had at that time came in either gold or silver anno (which explains the front color difference).
